Your new company are a partner with a leading Lloyd’s Broker from the London market and have rapidly expanded, recently completing a number of acquisitions and specialise in both insurance/ Reinsurance and corporate risks. You will be working within a well-respected and dynamic team who are an employer of choice. Due to such substantial growth, a permanent position for an Insurance Technician in the Financial Lines Team has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job as an Insurance Technician in the Financial Lines team is an all-encompassing role meaning you will be working with Clients, Using PPL and producing/ processing technical documentation. You will be responsible for processing premiums and adjustments and be confident in the preparation of technical documentation. You will be confident in your knowledge and understanding of technical process and have the confidence to learn a new class of business. You will be responsible for helping supporting the Brokers and ideally have experience in IMR and Xchanging and be your proactive nature will enable you to deal with queries efficiently .
What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as Insurance technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be confident in reviewing and amending slips and be able to produce a slip when required. Within your new role you will be confident in liaising with fellow colleagues in an effective manner and be able to provide both front end and back end technical support. You will be technically astute, know your way around a slip and have experienc
e with PPL. Your experience in a similar role and your friendly and confident nature will allow you to adapt well into a diverse team, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships.
